Exchange of experience and fresh ideas in the field of market development, hot discussions and search of optimum decisions by key players of the market – these are the results of Second International conference «Markets of money transfers, cash currency and bank metals» which with success passed on June, 17-18th in Kiev.
According to the Head of Organizing committee of the Conference Ihor Lvov: «Much time passed from the moment of the first Conference, and there were collected many interesting themes for discussion. This Conference gathered old friends and new acquaintances to prove once again: the markets of remittances, cash currency and bank metals are being perspectively developed. Event united over 100 experts – representatives of Ukrainian and foreign companies. Among them are systems of money transfers: «Golden Crown» (Russia), «Caspian Money Transfer» (Azerbaijan), "Leader" (Russia), «MoneyGram» (USA), «Intel Express» (Georgia), foreign banks: "Svyaz-bank" (Russia), «ZAMINBANK» (Azerbaijan), "Lanta-bank" (Russia), "Bashkomsnabbank" (Russia), "Belinvestbank" (Belarus). Many Ukrainian colleagues of the banking sector supported the initiative of organizers of the Conference – Bank Finance and Credit and the International system of money transfers «AVERS». Active participation in Conference was accepted by the companies which are engaged in manufacture of the modern banking equipment.
Discussing questions of cash monetary circulation and exchange rate formation in the Ukrainian currency market, participants of Conference came to the common opinion about inexpediency of the norms fixed in decision of the NBU ¹538 dd 09.09.2009 regarding establishment of a unitary cash currency rate in UAH and impossibility of its change within operational day.
Discussing the questions of operations with bank metals, participants of the Conference made the decision to address to the National Bank of Ukraine with offer to extend the requirement of Deposit insurance fund for physical persons to all kinds of deposits in bank metals.
Participants of the Conference paid attention of operators of bank metals market to the fact that the bill of the tax code, registered 15.06.2010 and submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to Verhovna Rada, demands concrete definition of the formulations providing VAT exemption of bank metals circulation.
