09.06.2011
The classic money transfers systems are very likely to become a thing of the past before long. In a short while the Ukrainians will be able to transfer funds through ATMs, petrol stations, drug stores as well as by SMS. These possibilities were outlined by Martin Dolan, CEO of CR2 House Ltd. that is one of the world leading software developers and partner of Finance and Credit Bank, at the III International Conference on "Markets for money transfers, bank metals and cash currency".
"To take Africa as an example, taxi passengers pay for their rides by SMS, – he says. – And now there are all prerequisites for this to become possible in Ukraine as well".
The company already has some developments which are successfully implemented in other countries. For instance, ATM money transfers can be initiated not only by active bank customers, but by any man in the street. For this purpose it is enough to select the "money transfer" option on the screen, enter the amount and the recipient's phone number. The system will generate a code and forward it to the addressee. After that the recipient can use any ATM of this bank, enter the code and receive the money.
